Hiring for a Sr Manager Legal for a fast growing start-up in Bengaluru. Job Responsibility: - Evaluating new engagement models and working on new initiatives and proposed launches of the org. - Managing and closing high-risk/value commercial transactions. - Managing the organization's intellectual property and associated claims and issues. - Leading and liaising on cross-functional initiatives with litigation, public policy, public relations, and tax teams. - Responsible for management of consumer issues and litigation. - Drafting and revising company policies (internal and consumer-facing), - Working with various stakeholders to develop as well as update policies when required Requirements: - With a law degree - With at least 7 years of work experience, preferably at an e-commerce company or a startup firm - Who pays attention to detail but is able to perform well in high pressure situations. - Who takes ownership and independently handles the assigned tasks and responsibilities - With a strong understanding of business and the ability to contextualize such understanding to business needs. - With strong interpersonal skills in addition to good communication and drafting skills.
