A Mumbai based corporate group is looking for senior manager legal. Job Functions: Legal Planning and documentation, handling Litigation, supporting all types of acquisitions, providing legal advice on various matters and securing the overall brand image of the group from legal perspective. Major Accountabilities: - Handling consumer and non-consumer litigation matters including drafting and timely implementation - Planning, drafting and implementation of all commercial and legal documentation for various functions of the group - Provide advice, guidance and support on all legal matters to all stakeholders on an ongoing basis - Support the due diligence for various acquisitions, drafting, documentation and providing timely clearances for various deals - Provide regular updates including reports to various stakeholders - Handling all litigation / court matters, liaising with and briefing external counsel/s. - Ensure that the group is compliant with all applicable statutes on an ongoing basis - Actively contribute to ensuring appropriate Risk Management measures are implemented on various organisational matters Education and Experience - Post Graduate / Graduate in Law - Around 15 years' experience with reputed Corporates or Law Firms - Strong experience in handling Corporate Affairs, various Corporate Laws and Litigation - Exposure to various requirements of working in a listed company preferred Attributes - Effective Business Partnering - High Energy and Passion - Professional Contacts with Solicitors and Law Firms - Strong Documentation and Commercial Law Orientation
