Senior Manager - Legal - Construction/Engineering/Building Material Firm - LLB/LLM

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION - LLB ( Exp.14 yrs to 20+ yrs )/ LLM + a Post Graduation

Competencies / Skill Set desired :

- A qualified legal professional with an academic background in BL Or LLB with 14 to 20+ years of work experience.

- Should have worked with large scale construction/engineering/building material organizations in the legal function.

- Should have good exposure in contract vetting and drafting

Responsibilities :

- Agreements drafting, reviewing and vetting. Drafting notices and responses, legal notices and correspondence involving legal issues

- Closing Transactional Documentation, Litigation management and providing legal services, keeping in mind the commercial interest of the organization.

- Minimizing the legal risks and in a cost effective measure within the set time lines, Due Diligence of the documents from legal perspective

- Handling Arbitration and Litigation related matters

- Should be well versed with drafting with Memorandum of Understandings, Joint Development

- Agreements, Agreement of Sale, Sale Deeds, Power of Attorney, Procurement Agreements, etc., and other deeds in relation to the property.

- Must have knowledge of conducting Legal Due-Diligence / local laws for the properties to be acquired by the Company.
