Senior Manager - Legal & Compliance - eCommerce - LLB (8-15 yrs)

Looking for an experience candidate in Legal and Compliance Domain for one of the leading ecommerce industry.

Min Exp : 8 yrs in legal and Compliance (Fintech firms , Unsecured loan policies) preferred.

Role and Responsibilities :

- Handling all aspects of the business legal function which include implementing legal standards, processes, systems, effective policies ensure legal compliance, legal Due diligence, drafting, vetting, negotiation and finalization.

- Exhibit strong legal and business judgement while drafting / reviewing contracts and other legal documents.

- Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies.

- Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance.

- Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues.

- Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust.

- Engaging and coordinating with the legal counsel / firms and internal stakeholders for handling the litigation ( Civil/ Criminal ) including any filings thereunder till its disposal and further actions.

- Coordinating with the business teams to collect and collate documents for the purpose of filing any fresh cases in eligible sections for debt recovery.

- Sending In house legal notices to eligible customers and keep track of delivery as well as effectiveness of notice.

- Coordinate with external Law agencies / Legal authorities / Police stations for filing of FIR for eligible default cases.

Qualification and Skills :

1) Law Degree from either National Law or reputed Law College ( Recognised by Bar council of India ).

2) Excellent communication and organizational skills.

3) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4) Good local connect and under-standing of regional language (Fluent in Kannada / English and good understanding of Hindi ) ( Knowledge of other south languages will be added advantage ) .
