Sr. Manager Learning and Organizational Development

Position Description :

- Partnering with Corporate L&OD and key local stakeholders, this position will assist with developing a local

- Learning & Organizational Development plan that supports unique local needs and aligns with the overall Company strategy.

- This position is responsible for the design, execution, and coordination of functional/role related learning, leadership development, professional development, and OD initiatives.

Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- Serve as a consultative partner to leaders, the HR Team, and Corporate L&OD to assess local, functional learning needs and leadership/talent development needs

- Manage learning and talent solutions from start to finish, including defining project scope and goals, securing resources, implementation, communication and follow up to ensure that solutions are contemporary, market leading and impactful

- Design and deliver/facilitate programs or interventions as needed. This may include courseware, facilitator notes, participant manuals/guides, job aids and other documentation as required.

- Build partnerships with local external experts to source learning and talent programs and/or tools that address either functional or leadership learning needs; own the relationship including negotiation, feedback, and course correction.

- Support local and corporate talent imperatives and OD interventions such as talent reviews, succession planning, high potential development, change management, and team building.

- Coach the L&OD team to develop, design, deliver and evaluate high impact learning interventions

- Allocate and optimize the local L&OD budget

- Manage L&OD data for analysis and ensuring alignment with plans.

OD - Organizational development :

- Take an insightful approach to diagnose business challenges.

- Provide strategic direction and management of assessment, conceptualization, design and roll-out of various short-term and long-term OD interventions around structure, processes, and HR / talent management practices to gain a competitive advantage

- Leverage data from tools like performance reviews, employee surveys and business and HR metrics to develop insightful solutions

- Utilize effective change management tools / techniques to embed and sustain acceptance, adoption, and usage of OD initiatives

Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements :

- A minimum of 8 years of experience in L&OD with Financial Service, Call Center, or Client Service

- Experience with coordinating execution of L&OD programs, vendor evaluation & effectiveness measurement.

- Experience using authoring tools and a Learning Management System (LMS) is preferred

- Attention to details, Strong execution skills into L&OD

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation skills

- Excellent relationship building and teamwork skills

- Advanced Word, Excel & PowerPoint Skills

- Agility; can adapt well to changing requirements.

- Ability to organize and accomplish objectives both independently and within a team

- Ability to respond to routine multi-tasking as well as unplanned issues while adhering to deadlines
