Senior Manager - Learning - International Charity (10-12 yrs)
Senior Learning Manager - International charity
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Formal, Non-formal, and Research teams in the Foundation to develop high-quality computing education content and programmes that reflects robust, evidence-based pedagogy in line with our formal and non-formal learning framework
- Work with school partners and external knowledge partners, develop resources and training materials to support teachers and volunteers
- Work with the Translations team in the Foundation to translate and contextualise curriculum in various Indian languages where required
- Build systems and processes to receive feedback from stakeholders on our content so that our learning resources are up-to-date, relevant, and impactful
- Make use of data and insights to maximise the learning impact of our content
- Represent the Foundation to external audiences
Requirements :
- Experience in designing and developing technical courses and learning experiences in either formal or non-formal education context
- Excellent understanding of the Indian education system, and a particular focus on school-based education and community-based education
- Proficiency in computing and digital making, including programming and physical computing
- Expert level understanding of key components of learning experiences, including instructional design - models, digital learning methods and tools, instructor-led methods, learner profiling methods and tools, assessments and surveys, etc
- Ability to generate creative solutions and apply them to highly ambiguous situations and environments
- Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM with 10 - 12 years of experience in teaching , curriculum design and development roles
