We are helping for one of our global investment company for the search of Senior Manager - Talent Development (L&D) based out of Hyderabad. The designation is open to discussion depending upon relevant experience and compensation shall be best in industry.

Title: Senior Manager - Talent Development (L&D)

Location: Hyderabad

Type of position: Full Time

We are looking for an exceptionally capable talent development leader to work out of the firm's office in Hyderabad, India. This is a dynamic, high-visibility role, offering multiple opportunities to drive strategy and execution. This is a highly collaborative role involving cross-functional relationships with both business leaders and managers.


- Identify, strategize, design, implement and lead all talent development interventions by anticipating the firm's development needs

- Support development of high potential employees at senior and mid-career levels, ensuring that a robust learning framework is in place for employees at all levels

- Be responsible for analytics and reporting of talent development metrics to the Operating Committee, senior management, and employees

- Evaluate the effectiveness of specific training and development programs against learning objectives and report the results

- Lead the talent development process for the firm with a focus on consistent implementation

- Design capability building plans through academic affiliations with Tier 1 B schools

- Drive the culture building exercise and play a critical role in crafting learning and development interventions

- Develop overall program offerings and update the talent development offerings to meet agreed upon training needs

- Deliver training programs and commission and contract with training providers/vendors to deliver trainings (when required)

- Coach and train senior leaders

- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff


The ideal candidate should have:

- A master's degree in HR with at least 11 -20 years of relevant experience. Masters from Top Ranked Business Schools.

- Experience leading high impact learning and development teams

- Proficient leadership management skills (i.e., comfortable with leading teams through uncertainty, ambiguity, and constant change, yet able to set priorities and deliver on commitments)

- Keen problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, along with high attention to detail and an ability to tackle ROTI (Return of Training Investment) issues

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills

- Adept at managing multiple projects with executional excellence and an eye for quality, along with excellent stakeholder management skills

- Ability to innovate and develop new concepts and deliver creative solutions

- Willingness to challenge and push boundaries
