Senior Manager - Learning & Development - Education (8-12 yrs)
We are currently retained by a leading university to find a Senior L&D Manager.
Please note people with matching qualifications and past experience of working with a leading education company or corporate would be preferred.
Role: Senior L&D
Location: Delhi NCR
- This is an exciting role where you would be leading L&D and building a competency and learning framework ecosystem for all training and OD initiatives. The role would provide overall leadership for training of employees across levels.
- The person would need to be a strategic L&D thinker, an excellent implementor and someone who takes pride in working with people at different levels.
- He/She should be able to be a Master Trainer for some of the programs.
- To fit this bill you must have excellent conceptual thinking and communication skills and be passionate about helping people learn and grow.
- The person will be required to rethink of what is needed from the organization perspective and build the same.
- It's a meaty role which offers excellent exponential growth opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Results Areas include, but aren- t limited to the following:
- Implement various learning methods (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
- Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
- Design, deliver and outsource as required - E-learning courses, workshops, and other training
- End to end Learning and Development cycle management- learning needs lead generation
- Training Needs Analysis, conversations with stakeholders, rolling out the learning calendar, training delivery and management, aligning trainers
- Help managers develop their team members through mapping of career path linked to job competencies.
- Track budgets and negotiate contracts with concerned vendors
- Source, hire and oversee training and Learning and Development Specialists
- Devise a Talent Management Strategy, Plan and deliver
- Plan and deliver a comprehensive Performance Management System and 360-degree feedback
To fit this role you must have:
- Bachelors/ Masters with 8-12 years of relevant work-experience
- Proven people management skills and being degree, CIPD or CTP qualified (or equivalent) would be an additional qualification but not necessary
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship building skills and team handling abilities
- Can multi-task efficiently and deliver consistently
- Great problem-solving skills and out of the box thinking
