Duties and responsibilities: - Purchase of IT / Non IT requirement (Administration & Marketing) - Experience of Procurement : - IT activity : IT Infra, IT Software & Hardware, Data Centre & Managed Service etc. - Admin /operations activity : Modular, Chairs, Air Condition, Diesel Set Generator, UPS, Electrical Work, House Keeping Services, AMC's of Critical Assets, Various kinds of operations related services like call centers, manpower contracts etc.. - Marketing activity : Multiplex / Cinema Branding, Media Agency, AV making, Outdoor Media Execution, Digital Print Media etc.. - Develop procurement strategy in-line with overall organization strategy and planned projects, establish policies and procedures to reduce purchasing costs - Lead the process of forward planning and forecasting, coordinate with business heads/ regional teams/ HO teams etc. to estimate accurate forecast to fulfill the requirements timely - Institutionalize plans to leverage vendor capability, finalize buying approach with a judicious mix of central and decentralized purchasing while maintaining quality and availability to maximize contribution to the bottom-line - Oversee process of identifying potential vendors, participate in high value / complex negotiations and oversee vendor performance continuously to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement - Undertake specific efficiency improvements projects from procurement perspective identified by self or by the stake holder - Identify and develop potential vendors, resolve issues or disputes and maintain harmonious relationship to ensure strong vendor base for supply of inputs in line with company's present and future requirements - Drive the RFP process roll out, arriving at shortlist of vendors and facilitate finalization of vendors from shortlist - Review procurement legal contracts for selected vendors on an annual basis - Monitor deployment of procurement strategy to leverage on economies of scale and ensure cost saving realization to the organization - Monitor the plan and take corrective measures if required to ensure accurate and cost-effective procurement of materials & service - Establish and maintain a system of checks and controls to ensure that purchasing decisions are taken and transactions are carried out with probity and integrity to ensure alignment with the company guidelines, policies and procedures - Oversee compliance and adherence to defined risk parameters - Development of acceptable indigenous substitutes in case of import or non standard items - Providing timely service from reliable agencies to avoid downtimes of machines and equipments - Keep Records of Daily, Weekly & Monthly activity - Ensure timely payments of essential services with finance team such as vendor payments
