Business Sectors: Manufacturing | Renewable Energy | Hospitality | Banking | Insurance | Agriculture | Real Estate Development | Trading | Investment Website: http://www.golyangroup.com Job title: Sr. Manager - IT Infra & Security Work Location: Kathmandu, Nepal Role Type: Full Time Division: Corporate Reports to: CIO Key Roles and Responsibilities: - Design and execute short term & long-term strategic plans to assure infrastructure capacity attains current and future needs. - Develop, execute and oversee procedure, policies and related training plan for project management and infrastructure administration. - Manage and establish priorities for maintenance, design, development and analysis of entire infrastructure systems inclusive of LANs, WANs, internet, security and wireless implementations. - Define and manage IT Disaster Recovery Strategy for organization. - Report and prepare strategies to maintain server infrastructure together with organizational IT landscape. - Ensure optimal security levels on network, infrastructure, servers, pc & other IT Infrastructure are maintained. - Ensure to practice IT asset management inclusive of component inventory maintenance and associated documentation. - Perform feasibility studies for different upgrade projects, conversions and improvements. - Ensures appropriate procedures are in place for Organizational Data Security. - Promote best practices in Information security management. - Review of security plans, risk assessments & security testing processes. - Responsible for Incident Response, Monitoring and analyzing security alerts, information distribution to information system and business management. - Keeps security staff and management updated on all security related issues. - Maintains liaison efforts with external organizations on security related issues. - Identifies resource requirements needed to manage the Information Security Program. - Performs reviews ensuring personnel are following security policies and operational procedures: - Firewall rule-set reviews; - Apply configuration standards to new systems; o Respond to security alerts; and - Change management processes; Organizational Responsibilities: - Adhere to the Code of Conduct in a manner that is consistent with both its spirit and intent. - Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, standards and practices - Act with honesty, integrity and good faith at all times - Raise any issues or concerns in a manner consistent with company's complaints and grievance processes - Undertake any other duties, consistent with skills and experience, as directed by the reporting manager Required Skills/Abilities: - Self-Motivated - Strategic Planning - Project Management - Leadership - Critical Thinking - Communication - Collaboration - Analytical Preferred qualifications - Graduate/ Post Graduate with relevant experience - Relevant certification related to Information Security and IT Infrastructure Management
