Senior Manager - Investment Research For US Based MNC (Only Females Required)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Prepare quarterly performance reports and governance reports

- Analyze performance of different investment options, asset classes and overall plan

- Write fund commentary after assessing the performance of fund/investment strategies

- Write manager updates on any major changes that happened in fund/investment strategies

- Communicate with data providers to gather and/or clarify client specific data required for reporting, and maintaining investment related databases

- Own accountability by being able to help teams troubleshot issues on projects

- Career planning and grooming of team members for next level

- Periodical Service Level Agreements (SLAs) monitoring and discussion with the stakeholders

- Manage relationship with onshore Business Process Owners and Senior Management

- Responsible for all performance management activities including supervision, goal setting, ongoing performance communication, employee engagement and development

- Project management, work allocation, real-time capacity management, peer review, process training and development of team members

- Lead and manage end-to-end operations and ensure the seamless delivery of reports/projects

- Play anchor role for all strategic projects and provide directions to the team

- Prepare and manage KPIs and handle escalations

- Participate in defining strategic priorities for the business

- Lead efforts for people engagement, knowledge development initiatives for the team, and ensure adherence to compliance policies

- Driving Process Improvement Initiatives and delivering results in line with Business Priorities.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding and proper usage of investment-related terminologies in written and verbal communication in English

- Knowledge of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution related concepts

- Ability to Prepare Investment Performance reports covering Asset Allocation, Benchmark Calculation, Holdings and Portfolio Performance

- Adept at writing and reviewing commentary

- Exposure to Global Capital Markets, and should have working knowledge of various Asset Classes and Investment Strategies

- Experience in analyzing investment portfolios or researching investment managers located outside of India

- Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment, ensuring standards and deadlines are met and keeping others informed and up-to-date

- Ability to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships with peers

- Ability to understand the link between data, client needs and its application to the "bigger picture"

- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, business communication, and time management skills

- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, third party tools - Bloomberg, Investorforce, Investment Metrics, Morning Star, Lipper, etc.

- Adept at performance attribution, benchmark calculation and reviewing compliance of the investment policies

- Advanced level of excel skills are required, proficiency in VBA coding would be an added advantage
