Senior Manager - Inventory & Master Data Management - Retail Business

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our team and manage inventory and master data for our retail client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, master data management, and retail operations.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement inventory management strategies that optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve accuracy.

- Ensure timely and accurate management of master data, including SKU setup, pricing, and promotion management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, finance, and merchandising, to identify and resolve inventory and master data issues.

- Develop and maintain inventory and master data management policies, procedures, and documentation.

- Manage and coach a team of inventory and master data management professionals.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements related to inventory and master data management.

- Develop and implement reporting and analytics to measure and track inventory and master data performance.

- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize inventory and master data management processes.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory management, master data management, or related field.

- Strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain management, and inventory control principles.

- Experience in managing large-scale data management projects, including data governance, data quality, and data architecture.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to manage and coach a team of inventory and master data management professionals.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Proficiency in using inventory management and master data management systems, as well as reporting and analytics tools.

- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to inventory and master data management.
