Position: Sr. Manager Internal Audit

Job Location: Chennai

Job Description

The position holder will be responsible for -

- Directing, promoting and coordinating the audit function in a manner that will help company, align its processes as per business strategy.

- Understanding company's business process and identifying areas for audit improvement.

- Responsible for leading the audit effort as per audit scope approved and assigned work with Audit Service providers to ensure that the all audit requirements and deliverables are met as agreed upon.

- Work with the team to devise audit plan for the year and plan for the quarter and ensure execution

- Schedule and participate in branch and field visits as per the audit scope

- Ensure follow up and closure of all open items identified in the course of audit

- Prepare necessary reports for the Audit Committee of the Company

- Any other tasks/assignments as may be assigned in the normal course of business

Desired candidate profile:

- Qualified/semi-qualified CA candidates with a flair for auditing

- Min. 5 - 10 years of experience with NBFC clients

- Openness to travel
