Job Details :

We are seeking a Manager for our internal audit . He/she will Identify and plan key risk areas and conduct risk based audits to ensure adherence to 'Audit Plan' for the Internal Audits assigned as per timelines and defined process. Also Prepare risk assessments and perform audit procedures / testing through various sampling techniques

Key Responsibilities :

- Identify and plan key risk areas and conduct risk based audits to ensure adherence to 'Audit Plan' for the Internal Audits assigned as per timelines and defined process.

- Prepare risk assessments and perform audit procedures / testing through various sampling techniques.

- Prepare and maintain documentation of the audit work / results in accordance with audit workflow system (PENTANA) and the IIA standards.

- Provide periodic update on the progress of the audit to Head, Audit and other stakeholders / committees.

- Discuss and form agreement with process owner on control gaps and opportunities for improvement and provide specific and provide practicable recommendation for effective closure of the issues and mitigation of risks.

- Prepare and co-ordinate with various stakeholders to collate required information for Audit committee and management packs.

- Plan, execute, and coordinate auditing of product set up in policy administration system including other support systems.

- Review of File and Use vis--vis Policy Contract and product literatures.

- Review Business requirement document and develop multiple scenarios for performing UAT testing.

- Perform value testing in real time environment.

- Identify opportunity of automation of key tests in the existing audits and get the same automated

- Follow-up to determine adequacy of corrective actions 

- Track and validate status of issues highlighted.

- Perform and present special studies and projects as may be assigned.

Desired Qualifications and Experience :

- CA / CS and should have minimum four years of experience in insurance industry

- Should have sound knowledge of IRDA regulations and guidelines issued by the IRDA from time to time

- Ability to understand IT System functionalities

- Sound knowledge of MS-Office 2007

- Should have strong written and verbal communication skills
