Senior Manager - Internal Audit - CA (3-6 yrs)

Job Description:

- Execute audits allocated as per the audit plan with the guidance of Team Leader/ Group Leader and ensure end to end coverage of the assignment including


- Planning - gather preliminary information including MIS, MRM presentation and previous IA reports (if any) to understanding business process and key risks associate, obtain process understanding from process owners, analysis of financial and non financial data and participate in scope defining exercise.

- Fieldwork - obtain business policies, procedures and applicable SOPs. Understanding of applicable rules & regulations. Download required reports from SAP and other systems.

- Be a active participate in process understanding discussion to ensure process flowchart are correctly understood and documented.

- Perform details validation of sample selected & ensure any inconsistency with current policies & procedure are highlighted and discussed with team leader and finally obtain business reason for such deviation from concern process owners.

- Work paper Ensure all work paper are properly arranged and sequentially saved in designated folders in order to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data reviewed and can be achieved in later dated.

- Interact / discuss & ensure closure of audit observations in respective areas

- Reporting - preparation / consolidation of draft report with observations, risk implication, root cause analysis and having preliminary discussion of observations with process owners and incorporating their comments and action plans.

- Preparation of supporting & annexure as referred in audit report in order to achieve adequate coverage and quality of recommendations

- Follow up : Execute & perform & review follow-up on the open audit observations. Understand the issue/observation and risk associated and agreed action.

- Coordinate with relevant process owner to obtain required documents/data in order to ensure completeness and sustainable implementation of agree action.

- Timely escalate of key unresolved recommendations to group leader in order to ensure timely implementation of action plans and recommendations.

- Involve in knowledge sharing activities of the team through suggestions of areas, making presentation on certain relevant topics, taking up relevant certification of CIA / CISA / CFE in order to ensure development of self and team members.

Mandatory Skills:

- CA or equivalent with 3-5 years experience in Plant audits, Interpersonal Skills - Networking and Influencing the stakeholders, Assertiveness, Communication Skills - Report Writing

Years Of Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Education/Qualifications: Chartered Accountant
