Hiring for Senior Manager Indirect Taxation for Leading Shared Services @ Mumbai.


- 10 years experience in Finance & Accounts with minimum 8 years in Indirect Taxation including team management with a large organization, Strong understanding of leading practices and SAP experience of taxation processes, Experience in Shared Services/ BPO would be an added advantage.Required


- Minimum 8 (with CA), or Minimum 10 Years(with any other post-graduation) Qualification - ICWA/ MBA/ CA/ CA Inter/ LLB (full time).

Please find below the Job Description

- Assign tasks to team members based on priority and resource availability.

- Review details prepared by team members related to:

- Review - GST returns / Yearly GST Audits / 9C workings

- Strong Governance for ITC taken

- Availment of ITC in timely manner - Managing Working Capital

- Review workings for statutory payments

- Make statutory payments as per schedule and file returns

- Provide support for audits / assessments

- Ensure timely automation thru RPA and other automation tools

- Training to IOT and AP staff for changes in GST

- Ensure proper compliance to the operational processes, procedures, checklists and SoA as specified in the area of operations.

- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all items processed in the system

- Ensure resolution of various issues and queries by raising the same to local units, departments and external parties.

- Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and systems, and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and service levels of the team.

- Escalates issues to Team Managers and local units- Manager, if necessary.

- Supervise team members in the completion of their respective duties (includes hiring, induction, training and discipline).

- Monitor team performance and ensure that SLAs and KPls are achieved in the area of operations

- Carry out periodical performance reviews of team members and address non performance issues

- Ensure adherence to all statutory and legal requirements and keep updated with latest developments
