Opening - Senior Manager Indirect Taxation for a leading Alco Bev MNC, Bangalore This position is responsible for the Company's indirect tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for various indirect taxes for the region. Advising business on indirect tax implications for various contracts entered and reorganizations - Identifying productivity initiatives and optimizing indirect tax costs - Ensuring refund of indirect tax thru leveraging various schemes under central and state Acts - Supervising filing of indirect tax (GST, VAT etc.) returns and timely payment of indirect taxes - Strengthening indirect tax processes including leveraging technology to automate - Managing various audit by indirect tax authorities and protecting tax positions including filing of appeals - Technical knowledge of customs, GST, State VAT, State excise Acts - Exposure to complex business environments - Experience of working in a matrix organisation CA/LLB/MBA preferred
