Designation - Senior Manager- HR & IR

Salary - As Per Candidate (Company Budget 12.00 to 18.00 LPA)

Education - Any Graduate and Post-Graduation in HR specialization / Personnel Management

Job Description:-

- Should have worked in a Manufacturing company having multi-location, with a min employee count of 200+.

- Establishes and maintains a presence on the plant floor to keep a read on the pulse of the organization

- Proactively identifies and resolves employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner that protects the needs of the plant to operate in an effective and efficient manner

- Manages and mitigates employee grievances by ensuring supervisors and leadership are creating an open forum for discussion and resolution of plant issues

- Coaches and counsels operations and engineering leadership management in development and demonstration of leadership and management practices required to establish and maintain a positive work environment

- Takes ownership for specific HR initiatives that support the effective operations of the organization by developing and/or delivering HR programs (e.g., attendance tracking, communications)

- Tracks and documents employment issues and requests as required for procedural and statutory purposes

- Identifies employee value proposition issues affecting turnover and works in team to identify actions for improvement

- Develops and implements hiring process for workmen and temporary employees

- Effectively communicates the company's health and welfare benefit programs and provides advice or acts as a liaison with insurance providers and corporate office when problems or non-routine situations evolve.

- Develops, administers, and/or selects training programs for personnel as needs to arise and coordinates or conducts training sessions to promote a well-educated and safety-conscious work environment.

- Non-Union Employee Relations - Provides guidance to supervisors and employees on problems originating from individual work situations, work environment or personal problems. Counsels management and employees on grievances and complaints and takes appropriate steps to see that they are resolved or channeled to management in an effort to retain union-free status.

- Works with managers, supervises and Corporate Compensation on the development or improvement of job descriptions to ensure job descriptions are an accurate reflection of job responsibilities and qualifications.
