Key Responsibilities:-  - Setting up HR function for the new organization, with both strategic and operational inputs.  - Partnering and aligning people strategy with the business.  - Coach and mentor managers and employees based on development areas.  - Identify development plans along with managers and plan various training intervention.  - Ensure that the process & policies that are implemented are in alignment with the parent company.  - Understands people needs and issues and recommend new HR policies and engagement practices in context to the Solar business.  - Partner with line managers, be a trusted support in all HR related processes and personnel issues:  - Recruitment of new employees and ensuring good recruitment processes, including psychometrical tests, reference checks, recommendations, contract management.  - on-boarding people  - Provide input on workforce planning, HR budget & people review to the COO  - Implement Performance management process and salary review process   - Position evaluations using job evaluation methods and linking them to compensation and organization decision  - Insight into psychometric testing.  - Develop and implement plans for competence development and training  - Support in Organization development initiatives  - Prepare monthly MIS reports for employee database and HR index tracking reviews  - Ensure that monthly payroll and compliances have adhered.  Competence required  - Preferably master degree in Business Administration with HR specialization, HRM, personnel management or similar, from reputed institutes.  - 10+ years of experience from a broad HR generalist role.  - Have tenacity and resourcefulness to start up a function from scratch.  - Knowledge about Indian labor legislation and best practice.  - Good business understanding and commercial consciousness.  - A result-oriented personality who thinks in terms of solutions & executes tasks well.  - Efficient team player and relationship builder.  - Enjoy working in a challenging and demanding international environment.  - Professional with a high level of integrity and work ethics.  - High work capacity, the ability of meeting deadlines, plan and structure the work and handling ad hoc requests.  - Excellent communication skills are written and oral in English.  - Preferably worked on HRMS system.  - Proficient in MS Office.
