Senior HR Manager


- This role is responsible for end-to-end HR operations, management and administration of all employee life-cycle-related practices in the office.

- In this role, you would work very closely with the Director of Professional Development, Director of Finance and Director of Administration for the India office. You would also connect and collaborate with the local Partner group, the India office Professional Development team and different office functional teams (e.g., administration/ finance, etc.) besides your regional/ global counterparts.

Detailed Job Description :

- You would be responsible for end-to-end planning and support on all HR and personnel-related activities. You will engage with stakeholders at multiple levels to strategize, manage and problem-solve on-the-job to ensure that the office is compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements surrounding recruitment, compensation, benefits, mobility, and separation.

- Manage the India Office (INO) location HR team

- Serve as thought and business partner to INO leaders across the functions and service lines providing counsel on people matters and issues and serving as a trusted advisor to leadership

- Manage HR-related risk issues in collaboration with leadership and INO leaders, and with Firm Legal as necessary. Be accountable for personnel risk related standards and gold standard supporting processes (eg data and records, offer management, background checks)

- Serve as point of contact for all INO colleagues on HR policies and guidelines

- Liaise with global and regional HR on policy and process changes, implementing changes in the INO location

- Manage compliance with relevant regulatory requirements

- Oversee office implementation of benefits programs, working with People Operations, Benefits, Compensation and other teams

- Foster an excellent working relationship with the internal teams - working collaboratively on shared processes, following best practices, and jointly problem solving on ongoing process improvements

- Be responsible for driving and implementation of digital Talent Management Suite (TMS) as well as going forward the digital People System in the location and secure harmonization and standardization together with global process owners

- Be the cultural steward to set the tone, model and apply Firm Values and ensure inclusion and diversity in the office

- Drive HR support for the INO location

- Collaborate with Talent Management team on evaluation and compensation processes

- Collaborate with Compensation and Benefits team on local remuneration practices

- Collaborate with Firm Learning and other leaders on learning programming for colleagues in the INO location

Required Experience and Education :

- 15+ years' experience in managing recruitment, mobility, HR compliance management, compensation and benefits, external worker contracts and compliances for a large sized organization or multi-national company

- At least a Bachelor's degree; a degree in Human Resources/ an MBA would be an added advantage
