Main Purpose:

In a few sentences, describe the main objective, purpose and scope of the role.

This is a newly created role within the Global Systems & Platforms Team in GHROps. GHROps is a complex organization with global scope over both operational and innovation activities. This role will initially be responsible for managing a team of 2 employees that will provide operations support and fulfill HCM system requests in accordance with the established global governance process.

The objective of this role is to manage the HBS team that will provide global HCM system support including:

- Operations Support/Environment

- Incident management - systems and integrations (BOOMI, CPI, Integration Center) - partnership

- Employee data mass loads (including load validation)

- Ticket trend analysis

- Configuration & Security

- Application configuration design and execution including -

- Reorganizations, acquisitions, divestitures

- Break/Fix, CR, CCB & Special Project support

- Performance management, learning, succession planning

- Annual process configuration updates (salary plans, performance goals, PDR forms, etc.)

- Translation Management

- Application security design and execution - including

- Break/Fix, CR & CCB support

-Annual process security support

-Configuration, security workbook and Separation of Duties documentation maintenance

- Testing

- Operations testing (BAU) - Break/Fix, CCB, CRs & special projects

- SuccessFactors release testing support

- The role will coordinate with the global support team and the global HR outsourced Application Management Team (AMS) to provide system support that includes all baseline requests and change control board-related new requests..

- The incumbent will work under the direction of the local manager, with a matrix reporting relationship to the global HR Operations Senior Director. However the role will have daily autonomy to organize and deliver the work in a logical way. This role requires a combination of HCM system technical skills, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience, Project Management acumen and the ability to communicate and ensure effective, optimized and sustainable operational delivery.

4.0 Accountabilities :

- Manage the local HBS team responsible for providing global HCM SAP systems operations support and fulfilling HCM system requests in accordance with the established global governance process. - Accountable & Execution

- Collaborate with the Global HR Operations System & Platforms team to manage the queue of incidents and service requests - Accountable & Execution

- Collaborate/Manage the assigned global Change Control Board (CCB) configuration requests (including the development of project plans and timelines) and manage from design to signoff/implementation - Accountable & Execution

- Collaborate/Manage the assigned global IdM and security queue security requests - Accountable & Execution

- Collaborate/Manage the assigned baseline EC configuration update ticket queue - Decisions & Execution

- Collaborate/Manage the assigned EC configuration updates required as part of SAP/SuccessFactors Releases - Decisions & Execution

- Provide input into the global Release Management process for configuration requests - Accountable & Execution

- Collaborate with all internal and external team members including: Business Partners/Requesters, HR Sector/Region Leads, , PMO, Alight, Accenture AMS, SAP and other 3rd party vendors to successfully deliver configuration and security updates/projects in accordance with budget, timeline - Accountable & Execution

- Lead the resolution of escalated configuration and security issues by collaborating across all internal and external team members to ensure quality implementation execution and delivery, escalating to Director as necessary - Accountable & Execution

- Collaborate/Manage the team's creation and maintenance of the configuration and security workbooks and manage global system naming conventions and standards - Accountable & Execution

- Collaborate/Manage the assigned global metrics and scorecards for all EC system configuration and security changes and provide status to stakeholders and senior leadership - Accountable & Execution

- Provide day-to-day management and oversight of incidents and service requests' queues on servicemen management tool 'myServices' (Service Now). - Accountable & Execution

- Identify and report trends on success metrics for each area of oversight. Execution

5.0 Key Skills/Experience Required:

Identify any differentiating expertise required for success in the role.

- Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in IT or Human Resources, MBA preferred

- 5-7+ years of experience in HCM system implementations/HRIT and support

- Global large-scale systems implementation, project management, and support experience, PMP certification preferred

- Detailed system configuration experience in large scale HCM ERP/Cloud solutions: SuccessFactors Employee Central or SAP HCM preferred, but will consider Workday, PeopleSoft or Oracle HRMS

- SuccessFactors certification desirable, however not required

- Detailed understanding of HR business processes, IT, and the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

- Experience collaborating with business teams, subject matter experts, IT and integration partners in creating optimized system solutions to meet business requirements

- Must be highly organized, with strong follow-up and results-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills

- Effective problem-solving skills, high degree of initiative and creativity with a quality focus and a strong attention to detail

- Experience in managing multiple simultaneous projects on time and budget

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize, anticipate and independently address issues

6.0 Differentiating Competencies Required:

Identify any differentiating behaviors, leadership skills or soft skills required for success in the role.

- Proficiency in project management techniques

- HRMS ERP/Cloud-based solutions experience (Employee Central, SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft or Oracle HRMS)

- Specialized knowledge of SAP Employee Central configuration/security preferred (difficult to find in the marketplace)

- Influencing and communication skills, both verbal and written

8.0 Additional Comments:

Key challenges/unique aspects / additional complexities of the position, (which have to be considered in job evaluation but were not listed above).

- This role is challenging in that it is global and must support the needs of all sectors (79 countries). It also requires specialized knowledge of EC system configuration, which is not commonly available in the marketplace. The role also must rely on a partnership with an outsourced Application Management Services provider to manage and complete all required activities. This role also requires constant communication with the SAP/EC software vendor to develop solutions and resolve issues.

- This role requires the ability to deal efficiently with escalations and challenging situations under pressure and time constraints.

- The role of the Baseline Operations Support manager is to supervise day-to-day activities and monitoring HR system of record (SAP/SF Employee Central) on its availability, stability and support. The role is responsible to manage tier 3-type of system incidents and integration failures, supported by the global IT Enterprise Solutions DevSecOps team.

- Supports any new implementation delivered by the Implementation and Solutions teams. Understands configuration and security requirements implemented in the system.
