Senior Manager - Group Strategy - BFSI

Job Purpose: As more and more To drive important and critical engagement initiatives at group level, India Stack, Global Stack & cross-group collaboration resulting in an enhanced approach towards innovation, aiding group companies in their pursuit of delivering better business outcomes.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Drive cross-group collaboration across India Stack, Global Co-creation, innovation, cross-selling, new market analysis & GTM strategy

- Create exceptional benchmarking analysis across various industries, conduct cross-group collaboration and continuously deliver new market analysis

- Formulate a strong pulse of competition & market landscape, conduct market research and benchmark industry wide parameters. Provide detailed benchmarking analysis across major BFSI players

- Drive the India Stack engagement from design to execution

- Initiate multiple live projects with group companies across Digi locker, Account Aggregator & UHI, ONDC, AI4AI

- Conduct regular discussion with India Stack leadership and POCs to understand innovation and role of BFS group in driving them

- Develop and lead the global co-creation model, driving engagements and live projects with Big Techs

- Managing end-to-end relationships in all the phases of the project cycle

- Work with designated business and functional SPOCs across the group companies for seamless project execution

- Set KPIs and tracking metrics for all the live projects in conjunction with the business plan, build strategy to realize tangible impact

- Understand possible synergies with selected tech players, acquire information on their innovation relevant for the group and identify possible avenues of participating and collaboration

- Interface with group companies to drive critical cross selling initiatives & projects.

- Run pilot projects & experiments to innovate across existing products & distribution channels.

- Aid group companies in new product development and launch processes.

- Identify new initiatives & products to be discussed with group companies and provide strategic inputs to the group companies

- Assist the group strategy team in multiple Ad-hoc research projects

MAJOR CHALLENGES:

- Influence & Build Consensus of stake holders of various companies

- Manage objectivity of various initiatives

- Run parallel track of various initiatives

- Leverage the technology community engagement for brand building

- Postgraduate with 6+ years of experience in driving business strategy, understanding of cross-industry functions with a strong inclination towards innovation

- Good understand from Macro environment

- Prior experience in launching and executing innovative pilot projects and converting them to long term engagements

- Preferable MBA from top tier B-schools

- Exceptional stakeholder management with strong industry network

- Good to have exposure to at least few insurtech, healthtech & fintech innovations globally and locally

- Excellent communication & negotiation skills

- Exceptional knowledge of MS Office (Word, excel and power point)

- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

- Co-ordinating & collaboration with functional teams to share the feedback

- Highly motivated and target driven

Educational Qualifications

- MBA from Top Tier B School.

Functional Skills & Behavioral Skills:
