Senior Manager/Group Manager - Performance Reporting - Consulting Firm

- As part of Wealth business, you are responsible for managing team supporting clients team in delivering Investment consulting services to plan sponsors across organizations

- Part of the mid-level leadership team and involve in designing and delivering strategic and operational priorities

- Work closely with senior stakeholders onshore in identifying opportunities for transition and successfully manage projects

- Work closely with offshore team, provide them guidance on complex investment concepts and lead them strategically to delivery high quality service delivery

- Involve in review of complex projects, clients presentation decks and performance evaluation reports of pension plan portfolios

- Review performance report for DB, DC, DS and NFP plans which includes structured discussion on performance results of fund managers and make recommendation on hold/liquidate investment managers

- Review asset allocation and portfolio construction as per client goals and risk appetite

- Review fund managers screening and search reports

- Project management, work allocation, real-time capacity management, peer review, process training and development of team members

- Lead and manage end-to-end operations and ensure the seamless delivery of reports/projects

- Liaison with stakeholders to build relationship for service delivery management

- Prepare and manage KPIs and handle escalations

- Focus on new capability development and branding imperatives

- Lead efforts for people engagement, knowledge development initiatives for the team, and ensure adherence to compliance policy and organizational imperatives

- Driving Process Improvement Initiatives and delivering results in line with Business Priorities

Note : Applicants should be flexible working in shifts

We will count on you for :

- Strong understanding in Wealth Management, Investment Management industry and asset classes (equity, fixed income and alternatives)

- Exposure to Investment Consulting services to mid-to-large organization involve in managing investments portfolios

- Advanced knowledge of portfolio construction, restructuring and performance evaluation, primarily for Institutional clients

- Well-versed with macro and micro economic trends and how they affects the Investments industry.

- Strong logical and analytical skills with attention to details

- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, third party tools - Bloomberg, Morning Star, Lipper, etc.

- Excellent written and verbal communication

- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, business communication, and time management skills

- Demonstrated success working with out-of-country professionals

- Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment, ensuring standards and deadlines are met and keeping others informed and up-to-date

- Ability to understand the link between data, client needs and its application to the "bigger picture"

- Excellent client management skills

- Leadership Skills with ability to manage diverse teams

- Positive attitude & ability to adapt ever-changing environment

- Good knowledge/experience in project management

- Proficiency in programming languages like VBA, Python, SQL

What you need to have :

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires critical thinking and strong analytical skills

- Proven record of managing large team

- Hands on experience in managing the transition

- Ability to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships with peers

- Substantial experience of Investment Research , depth and breadth of knowledge in processes especially in the areas of Performance Reporting

- Preparing Investment Performance reports covering Asset Allocation, holdings and Portfolio Performance

- Exposure to Global Capital Markets and working knowledge of various Asset Classes and Investment Strategies

- Good command on MS Office applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word, PowerPoint)

- Problem solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment, ensuring standards and deadlines are met and keeping others informed and up-to-date

- Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills


What makes you stand out :

- Master's Degree in finance ( in addition to accounting, economics or mathematics) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA charterholder)

- High attention to detail

- Good relationship skills, Proven ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team

- Ability to multitask and prioritize time effectively

Eligibility : Minimum 9 years of experience in the investment industry
