Senior Manager/Group Manager - Learning & Development - BFSI (8-12 yrs)

This role is responsible for handling of L&D training and program design, communication and delivery for a specific business function and serving as a primary local point of contact regarding L&D matters.

- Develops and oversees implementation of learning activities and support programs for a business function which emphasize function-specific objectives and promote key competencies.

- Assists with the development of training for Managers and Mentors/Coaches to ensure Program understanding and execution.

- Prioritizes annual initiatives and drives new programs and sessions forward as part of global or regional efforts.

- Updates and/or designs learning and development sessions based on the needs of and feedback from the organization; partners with subject matter experts where required.

- Develops and maintains core curriculums within each function/group.

- Identifies training and development needs through role reviews, performance appraisal data and regular consultation with managers and HR COEs.

- Leverages advanced knowledge of best-practices to partner with the communications teams and spearhead functional communication strategies and initiatives for new programs, awareness and change management initiatives.

- Acts as a technical point of contact for questions regarding learning platforms, training programs, and L&D developments within the function.

- Maintains awareness of industry trends and happenings, and joins relevant professional organizations and attends industry events to build a strong network

Required qualifications and skills :

- Works independently with minimal supervision.

- Ability to create/develop program content based on requirements

- Knowledge of evaluations of training programs and learning effectiveness

- Sound written / oral communication skills, conceptual and analytical skills

- Possess passion and drive towards delivery of training programs

- Skills to interface/liaise effectively with internal customers towards needs' identification and conceptualize, develop relevant program content

- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation

- A strong sense of commitment, meeting timelines and passion towards people capability development are necessary for the role.

- Experience in training delivery

- Great facilitation skills

Education & Eligibility :

- Should be a Graduate. Preferably a Post graduate

- 8-12 years of experience
