Senior Manager - Global Trade Policy - Consulting Firm

Job Details/ Criteria

Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility:

- Trade in services/FTA's/ digital trade/talent mobility in cross border global context. Content preparation and presentation documents and coordinate with the Policy team.

- Knowledge of G 20 Quad, QUAD ,MEITY, DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE GOOD WRITING SKILLS is a must have skill.

- Work with third party consulting outfits to build content.

- Work on preparing responses to GOI and its various departments and prepare quarterly/annual reports after seeking inputs from members

- Coordinate work with external agencies and ensure that targets are met on federal engagements in helping change the narrative of the industry

- Act as US government relations member engagement lead to generate hands-on issues of concern

- Work on state activities and think tank engagement

- Support proposition through research and sample surveys - interface with member companies and GOI department

- Research lead on industry issues in the US - innovation, job creation, upskilling and trade

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience:

- Website revamp, updates

- research agenda, strengthen the research piece for the team by engaging with research department, members and research agencies

- Complete profile template for new delegation visits

- Monthly mailers - collate, synthesize

- Communication with external stakeholders e.g., contribute to pre/post delegation visit write-ups

- Support line manager for activities assigned for department
