Sr Manager Global Supply Planning


- This role will own all short- and long-term supply planning for FG products out of our multiple contract manufacturer's globally and is responsible for managing the supply-demand balance for all global markets for Markets.


- This role oversees and manages the operations of a team of supply planners with the objective of balancing inventory investment, service level and revenue attainment activities.


- The role has a key influence into new product development launches and product transitions, along with people management and people development responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes (What the Person needs to accomplish in the role ?) :

- Responsible for supporting integrated supply planning activities across the organization by being a part of the S&OP cycles.

- Review, identify, and mitigate any near-term and long-range imbalances of supply and demand using quantitative analysis and data-based decision making.

- Responsible for supporting the management of lead times and variability to ensure supply availability to meet and exceed service, revenue, and profitability objectives.

- Review, identify and mitigate constrained supply requirements within a horizontal supply chain to support cost, inventory, and service objectives.

- Creates, implements, and monitors supply planning KPI's to drive business improvements.

- Facilitates new product rollouts and coordinates product discontinuations with Procurement, Sales, R&D and Manufacturing

- Proactively manages and develops the performance of direct reports and team members through performance management, calibration, resource review and planning, capability, disciplinary, training and development.

- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop cross functional teams, excellent in communication and people skills, ability to establish rapport and hold people accountable

Qualifications: Education, Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Behaviour) and Experience

Minimum Qualifications :

- BE, MBA from TIER 1 or 2 Institute with 15-20 years of experience in Supply Chain Functional Roles

- Preferably Supply Planning experience with at least 7-8 years of experience in managerial and leadership roles, managing regional and global supply chains

- Experience in working in office suite (proficiency with MS Excel) & Supply planning ERP systems

- Must be fundamentally strong in functional supply chain management processes, along with proven experience in process improvement and working with best-of-breed systems.
