Senior Manager/General Manager - Finance -  CA (manufacturing industry background)

Purpose of the Job:

To handle Accounts operations including closing of books, finalization of accounts, auditing, financial planning, Budgeting, cash-flow management, Taxation (Direct / Indirect), GST, Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR) in SAP environment and to handle Banking Relationships

Reports to: CEO

Reportees: 20 member team

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing the preparation & finalisation of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual financial statements to the Management.

- Developing, analysing & implementing budgets; monitoring budgets for deviations, conducting variance analysis and making recommendations for new or revised budget norms or procedures

- Ensuring timely realisation of debtors and monitoring payments made to vendors; tracking accounts receivable / payable accruals and reconciliation of accounts receivable / trial balance to the general ledger

- Monitoring preparation of financial reports (MIS) that summarize & forecast the organisation's financial position on maximising profits and leading to better managed cash-flow & working capital

- Facilitating the smooth execution of all legal contracts & financial covenants including treasury activities and building relationships with bankers & other statutory bodies

- Ensuring timely completion of Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Limited Reviews, Tax Audit and Transfer Pricing Audit

- Assessing internal controls and developing/ improving existing processes and systems to strengthen internal controls in the areas of Procurement to Pay, Order to Cash, Inventory Management & Financial Statements Closure Process

- Income Tax computations, payment of advance taxes and filing of IT returns

Qualification: Chartered Accountant

Experience:

- 10 to 15 years of experience from manufacturing industry background.

- Hands on working experience on SAP
