Job Description :

1. Preparing the Financial Plan for the function by collaboratively working with the function &finalize cost targets /resources to ensure full functional ownership

2. Finalizing the company Financials basis inputs from functions. Leveraging the planning software and validating the financials by reviewing the assumptions and putting in place various controls and checks in the planning software.

3. Finalizing and executing various sensitivities/scenarios for the function and overall company's financials to aide management in decision making

4. Finalizing and monitoring the performance framework for the function through regular interaction with the function at the planning stage to ensure efficiency in cost targets &resources are built-in in the operating plan.

5. Driving the automation initiative by being able to increase the effectiveness of planning software for the channel as well as overall company level for the budgeting to reduce turnaround time and improve productivity

6. Finalize and create reports/dashboards in consultation with function heads/senior management for measurement & reporting critical trends in channel performance and regularly highlight exceptions to the team/finance head/LT in terms of performance and corrective actions

7. Analyzing the key trends and highlight deviations to the senior management and the function head on key financial and non-financial parameters. Also, preparing and review of functional scorecards to monitor functions budgets throughout the financial year

8. Finalizing monthly review presentations highlighting key trends and areas of concerns to be shared with functional heads and institutionalizing the process of regular feedback from the function on such reviews

9. Finalizing quarterly board presentations highlighting key trends and areas of concerns to be shared with shareholders and institutionalizing the process of regular feedback from them on such reviews

10. Measuring the business performance and quality of business v/s the investments made in the functional initiatives to update the senior management on the overall viability of these initatives.

11. Help build various financial models and conducting due diligence to optimize costs by working closely with functions in implementing their initiatives.

12. Providing support in conceptualizing various functional level initiatives and support the functions in finalizing the framework for driving initiatives
