- Hiring for Senior Manager Financial Governance for Leading Shared Services based in Delhi/NCR. 9+ years of experience in internal audit, sox compliance, reporting automation, dashboard, global stakeholders, financial control, risk assurance audit, ICFR (Internal control over financial reporting).


Qualification : CA(Chartered Accountant) .


Industry : BPO/KPO/IETS.

Please find below the job description :

- Set up governance of Financial Governance Strand services for performance monitoring, quality standards/ SLA defined in the UPC / Quality Assurance Framework.

- Accountable for reporting compliance with minimum standards of Finance Control & Compliance Framework.

- Ensure procedures and effective controls are in place for service delivery and manages new transitions with support of Transition team

- Collaborates with Financial Governance team, Global Process Owners, Regional Risk Compliance team to improve effectiveness and compliance with existing and revised financial processes across service delivery

- Ensures Business continuity / disaster recovery plans are successfully implemented and tested regularly with Business Assurance team.

Financial Control and Compliance framework :

- Ensure that key financial risks are identified and monitored

- Ensure that there is a fit for purpose financial control and compliance framework and that Minimum Control Standards (MCSs) are defined and effectively monitored, and that remediation actions to address control weaknesses are identified and monitored.

- Work with stakeholders to ensure that the MCSs are developed over time and continue to address the most important and highest risk compliance areas. This includes monitoring changes to processes, automation of controls and new risks; considering the results of compliance monitoring and updating MCS accordingly.

- Design and perform assurance testing of self-assessed testing by regions, identify, communicate and where relevant, implement improvements to testing.

- Work with stakeholders to ensure that there are appropriate assurance mechanisms in place to monitor risks and controls not monitored through the MCS. Contribute to the design and operation of these other mechanisms. Work with other assurance providers, including Internal Audit to ensure that the overall compliance framework is comprehensive and proportionate.

Controls :

- Work with other stakeholders, including Global Process Owners and others in the Shared Services Centre to identify controls that can be centralized and/or automated.

- Contribute to design and delivery (either direct or through Regional Risk and Compliance network) of controls testing.

- Support identification of risk measures to be monitored centrally, develop and oversee delivery of reports to monitor these risks and related controls, and distribute to those responsible for monitoring and taking action.

Reporting :

- Produce, or co-ordinate production with others of reports necessary to support compliance reporting.

- Drive continuous improvements and efficiency in reporting, including automation and centralisation of reporting, use of real-time data and improved data analysis and presentation. Contribute to a coherent reporting framework of key measures to relevant stakeholders using consistent measures of performance.

- Work with Counter fraud team to produce relevant reports or dashboards to monitor fraud related risks.

Loss reporting :

- Manage the process and system for recording, processing and quality reviewing losses, including reconciliation with accounting records. Work with stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete reporting. Identify, develop and implement improvements to these processes.

- Supporting year end activities with regard to preparation of financial statements, notes to accounts, and losses reporting to the Audit and Finance committee and FCDO.

Training and guidance :

- Help design financial control and risk training and development, and ensure that comprehensive guidance is in place
