Senior Manager - Financial Control - BFSI - CA (6-8 yrs)
Our client, a market leading unicorn fintech, is looking to hire a Senior Manager - Financial Controller.
As part of a new in-house finance function, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow the team, put in place systems and processes, work closely with the business and be part of an exciting growth story.
Responsibilities :
- Help to plan, organize and direct the financial management of the Company and activities of the finance department in compliance with all legal and ethical standards. This includes but is not limited to :
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including revenue projections
- take on responsibilities across financial accounting, audit, risk, corporate finance, statutory compliance etc
- Help prepare the annual budget with various departments, financial forecasts, reporting and investigating variances.
- Contribute towards cash flow management and fund allocation as per the agreed guidelines between the various stakeholders.
- Supporting fund raising, investor relations and corporate development
- Helping ensure eompliance with various direct / indirect tax requirements, GST, secretarial, legal and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Interact with various business partners as required
- help with setting up of systems & processes including a robust ERP system
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and providing monthly MIS, accounts, cash flows statements, investor reporting, and legal compliance reports.
Qualifications :
- Chartered Accountant
- 6-8 years of relevant experience, either
a) Industry experience - start up environment will be an advantage or
b) As a practicing CA, preferably in the Big 4. Experience working with startups will be an advantage
