Senior Manager - Financial Accounting - Retail Industry

Primary Purpose:

- Manage service delivery of the financial accounting processes and timely close of books for the period in order to control the integrity of the reported financial results.

- Ensure all statutory compliances are filed within timeline. Drive transition of financial accounting processes.

- Ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place.

- Stakeholder management and build collaborative relationship with onshore and offshore Finance teams to develop and implement service models that promotes efficiency.

Level of role: Line Manager / Professional

Years of Experience required for role: 15-20+ years

Educational Qualification - CA (Qualified)

Position Relationships:

- Team Lead with responsibility in a professional or technical discipline or specialty

- May direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs.

- The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialised knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education

Skills Good to Have:

- Experience in Retail Industry (Preferred But Not Mandatory)

- Experience using SAP finance S4Hana
