Senior Manager - Finance Planning & Analysis - Plant

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Its a Plant Controller / Plant Finance Head / Plant Leadership with direct reporting to CFO and indirectly also reporting to the Plant Head

- Responsible for Plant budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking and variance analysis for Cost of Production

- Identify cost savings opportunity and work with Plant functions to realise those cost savings opportunities

- Capex budgeting, track actual spend vs. budget and perform financials evaluation of capex proposals

- Responsible for ensuring effective internal controls at the plant and ensuring timely statutory compliance relating to customs / plant incl. liasoning with department including framing and rolling out desired SOPs

- Responsible to ensure that plant finance related monthly closing activities are completed as per schedule

- Ensure timely closure of audits - Statutory, Internal and Cost Audit for plan and work on addressing audit observations

- Ensure smooth functioning of Plant payables - bills verification / approval, advance / vendor open items tracking, open GRIR, open PR/PO, vendor reconciliation for plant vendors

- Support Plant Head in various management presentation / board presentation

- Work on automation / simplification of plant finance processes and drive employee productivity

- Train and develop the team of 4-5 people reporting to this position
