Who we are looking for:
- Must be a B.Com / M.Com with CA Qualification only.
- Experienced in independently heading entire accounts & finance function with proven abilities in strategic business growth plans, implementing processes & controls, with effective leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent command in writing English, PPT, soft skills, report writings.
- Experience level, e.g., 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 6 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position in IT Services Company only, is must.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving financial performance and business results.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems, financial modelling, and Microsoft Excel (advanced version)
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensuring timely preparation of monthly & quarterly financial reports, prepared for senior management, board of directors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Formulating strategies, making plans for the daily activities of the organisation for timely delivery, proper allocation & utilization of company's resources.
- Manage the budgeting process, including setting financial targets, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Implementing systems / procedure/ process control /policies for preparation & maintenance of statutory books of accounts & financial statements and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Maintaining MIS Reports, cash flow & fund flow statement, working capital statement, IT projects detail, tracking of all IT projects revenue status and other financial reports for keeping a track of financial performances.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity position to ensure adequate funds for operational needs and strategic initiatives, optimize cash utilization and minimize financial risk.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and address audit findings on time.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on financial matters, providing insights and recommendations to drive business performance, identify risk & opportunities impacting revenues of the business.
- Evaluate monthly financial (B/S) & operational results (P&L), analyse key variance drivers and provide actionable insights to senior management
- Prepare Annual Operating Plan and conduct variance analysis, organise monthly, quarterly operational and financial indicators & present before the management for their review.
- Compiling monthly Business Segment Wise/ Product wise performance analysis & finding deviation with the business plan along with root cause analysis.
- Managing banking relationship and augmenting capital from bank and other financial institutions for various projects & fund requirements.
- Worked closely with banks on the structured finance transactions, working capital requirements, Currency management, International trade transactions (LC/BG etc), regulatory compliance related to import and export transactions
- Revenue/cost recognition in consultation with accounting team.
- Conduct review of Outstanding AR/unbilled, inventory and provisioning, LD requirement in line with contract, outstanding performance guarantee and discussion with business if renewal or cancellation required.
- Generated various MIS like Firm Opportunity working, New Book & Bill Analyzed large contract & preparing financial/other summary like nature of contract, period of contract, payment terms, LD terms, penalty terms, credit terms, contract value & its breakup, cost sheet, warranty & AMC terms, contract deliverables etc.
- Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners
Key skill sets required:
P&L Management, Budgeting and Forecasting, IT Project Finance, MIS, Board Presentations, Strategic Finance, Taxation, Accounting standards, Internal Control Frameworks, Practical application in business operations, Regulatory Compliances, Business Analysis, Financial Modelling, Financial Analysis, etc.
