Senior Manager - Finance - Media

Job description for Finance Controller:

- Take overall control of the company's finance function in India, including budget FP&A, accounting, tax & treasury.

- Conduct an annual budgeting process(detail build-up of revenue model) and Operations (cost)

- Track actuals vs budgets ongoing quarterly forecast/estimates, understand and communicate key business drivers of variances.

- Contribute significantly by providing financial analyses and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and drivers.

- Manage day to day accounting processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions.

- Responsible for monthly closing pack submissions to APAC HQ and global HQ and participate in monthly financial reviews.

- Identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and enact cost management programs.

- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures and systems to ensure compliance with Local Indian and U.S. GAAP accounting principles, regulatory, tax, and management reporting requirements.

- Implementation of ERP system (Net Suite) and drive adoption and accuracy of revenue dashboard

- Responsible for the development and maintenance of best practice procedures for the month-end financial statement close process to ensure timely and accurate issuance of financial statements and supporting schedules.

Education

- Graduate /Post Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance. CA is a Must requirement.

- A minimum of 10 years of experience working across accounting and reporting processes, preferably with media company experience.

- Proven core accounting and finance qualifications. Extensive knowledge of accounting procedures and U.S. GAAP accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting systems, spreadsheets, databases, business analytics applications, and complex billing systems.

- Ability to generate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements in a timely and accurate manner, including Management Discussion and Analysis.

- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate within the Company at all levels.
