JOB DESCRIPTION :


JOB TITLE : Senior Manager Finance (ERP System Implementation Support)

JOB SUMMARY :

- The Senior Finance Manager role will be based out of our Mohali office and will mainly work with US team on System implementation support.


- The role will be responsible for supporting the US implementation team with efficient and smooth implementation of ERP system across the organization, while overseeing the Mohali based implementation support team.


- This includes the modules for project accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets activities including invoice processing, vendor and purchase team queries, payment runs, intercompany reconciliations, revenue bookings, outstanding receivables and month-end closing activities of the group companies.


JOB PROFILE :

- Responsible for leading dedicated and undedicated project team participants, facilitating team action plans toward goals

- Project lead duties include managing deadlines and key milestone dates, creating tactical plans to accomplish multiple aligned and coordinated tasks, and coordinating/assisting functional departments with the achievement of the tasks to provide on-time deliverables according to the project timelines

- Works with US team to document and review business unit processes with content owners and stakeholders to review current state and help align data for configuration and import into new system

- Evaluates and recommends changes to current and future data, business process and system requirements to meet organizational needs.

- Provide technical expertise (application features, functionality, capabilities, data file requirements, database structure, data migration, etc.) on the implementation project and support the internal finance teams both in US and Mohali during the life cycle of the implementation project

- Supports the implementation of new organizational processes aligned with ERP configuration and demonstrates extensive knowledge of department processes and subject matter functions in terms of data and process

- Create and maintain business unit and internal project documentation including SOP documentation; serve as a support, training or reporting point of escalation; conduct training and workshops with internal teams being supported as needed

- Communicate project issues that may impact the project success to team members, clients, project management, work with project team and clients to coordinate discussions of change control, issues, and deliverables.

- Provides project reports and risk assessment to the Implementation Project team leadership

- Provide post-implementation support for configurations and processes; advance support as indicated.

- Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through an ERP module; and recommend, document, and execute new department protocol to better meet planned objectives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :

- ERP implementation experience

- Hands on experience of working in D365 Finance and Operations

- At least 5-8 years' experience in the needed functional department related area (HRIS, Learning and Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Supply Chain) as a team lead

- At least 3 years' experience as a project lead over departmental processes and active participant experience with a LMS, Finance, Supply chain system implementation and configuration

- Demonstrated successful experience as a lead who successfully collaborates with others in a change driven environment

- Demonstrated experience in successfully building partnerships, and encouraging

PREFERRED :

- Bachelor of Commerce degree/PG highly preferred

- At least 3 years supervisory experience
