Sr. Manager - Finance Looking for someone to manage the entire project, work closely & report to the Japanese stakeholders, run the business improvement program. Manage a Financial Operations team of 40+ people. Prior experience working in a BPO, Shared services with good knowledge of SAP is a plus. Job Description: Purpose of the Role: Single point of contact for senior management & stakeholders to review, mentor, grow, report on the GBS Finance team and support any additional related requirements. The resource will also be working closely with operations lead and be responsible for service delivery, business process improvements and drive significant synergies across teams and processes Roles & Responsibilities - Manage and develop the Finance shared services team. - Take an active role as a business leader within the team and support the overall objectives of the organization. - Responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements and management expectations. - Closely work with the operations lead to track the performance metrics and communicate with the relevant stake holders to highlight issues, identify root causes, and provide solutions. - Implementation of global policies and processes in GBS Finance - Identify, develop, and implement best practice procedures for the R2R, P2P and O2C Streams, constantly looking to external companies to benchmark performance. - Ensure the GBS center adopts best practices and continuous improvement programs. The role requires focus on process improvement and implementation. - Manage all staff, including hiring, training, distribution of workload, coaching to ensure development of associates. - Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing and resolving issues and concerns. Work closely with all business partners to ensure compliance with processes that will facilitate timely processing of operations. - Ensure that Business Continuation Process is up to date and keep the stakeholders informed. - Manage all the new transitions. - Work with leadership on developing the practice through recruiting, training, mentoring, stakeholder relationship management Qualification: Experience and Skills - CA/CPA/MBA Finance with minimum 10-12 years of experience. - Finance Accounting proven experience in GFSS/GBS environment - Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior management role, including resource management - Experience in managing a team of minimum 50 staff members - Experience with change management as well as working in a multicultural and international environment. - Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management - Experience in business process standardization - Knowledge of SAP is a plus - Experience in a similar role - Attention to detail and analytical skills is key - Consistency - key to achieving daily cut off deadlines - Optimism/positive and proactive attitude to work - Excellent communication skills - Experience in leading a team
