Job Responsibilities:
- Strong accounting background with in-depth knowledge of the relevant accounting standards
- Great ability to churn out business plans and comfortable with spreadsheet business cases - crunch numbers and assess financial viability of the new business verticals
- keen sense of business - ability to understand different businesses and eager to engage with business
- Strong controls background (prev. work ex in internal controls). strong focus on processes, authority matrix and ability to operate in non SAP environment
- Working capital management
- Strong focus on receivables and payable, recons with vendor and dealers
- Monthly closing and MIS
- Rigor to close books at the earliest; put in place system of cut-off dates and prepare MIS for management
- Budgeting and forecasting strong analytical skills for a budgeting exercise
- Lead a team of finance managers handling various verticals in finance - payments, order processing, consolidation activities
- Strong application of Income Tax, GST and other various regulations - ensure compliance and timely payments
- Management of key stakeholders - Board of directors
