Role: Fintech Organization is looking to hire an Events Specialist to own all the events being organized for the company. The ideal candidate will be strong on execution with prior experience handling large events, and dealing with external agencies/vendors. Job Responsibilities: - Work closely with the Corporate Communications team and HR team to own end to end execution of all events for the company. Typical events include external-facing Employer Branding Events, Internal events/celebrations, Hackathons, Org-wide Townhalls, Org-wide get-togethers, Offsites for various teams. Manage the budget for all events. - Work with external Vendors/Agencies for various planned events. - Work with the Employee Engagement team to come up with Innovative Ideas for events for employee engagement. - Work with internal business stakeholders to manage the event requirements for these teams. - Work with internal business stakeholders to coordinate participation of in external conferences, hackathons events etc. - Work closely with the Procurement and Facilities teams to come up with options for employee outings/offsites. - Set up and manage the merchandise store. Manage logistics for all employee merchandise requirements for internal stakeholders. - Work closely with the Internal Communications team for employee communications for all events/activities being organized. Prerequisites : - A postgraduate degree or diploma in communications or related field. - Minimum 10-12 years experience handling corporate events. - Excellent verbal communication skills. - Ability to quickly understand the company culture - Ability to identify and work with external partners and agencies - Should be highly organized and able to multitask seamlessly and manage multiple projects
