BASIC FUNCTION : Responsible for company Product Engineering and Program Management. This includes creating and implementing engineering standards &amp; processes for Vitreous products, completing design engineering, product document creation and control, product specification creation and product change control for all products sold in the market. Creating, mentoring and maintaining a staff with appropriate training, experience and education will be the main method &amp; ensure the timely and qualified delivery of works SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES : - Leads cross-functional projects involving design, prototyping, validation, and manufacture of complex subassemblies, systems, processes, equipment or facilities. - Conceives and plans whole projects; defines and selects new concepts and approaches to the design or development of new or improved products, processes, equipment or facilities. - Assume project and/or departmental fiscal responsibilities. - Determine functional procedures and policies and leads projects. - Coordinates the efforts of engineering work and ensure the timely and qualified delivery of works. - Mentor &amp; manage staff's career development. - Apply knowledge of business &amp; competition to product development goals &amp; product ideas. - Enables the activation of plans and gets them implemented for the respective area. RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS : Supervisory Relationships : - Report to Head - Engineering Organization Relationships : - Leads activities with other functional areas, suppliers, contractors and consultants. - Exercises discretion as to personal work details as well as the work details of other technical personnel and cross-functional teammates. - Active Interaction with business unit and/or corporate level senior/executive management on cross-functional /technical matters. - Direct interaction with business unit senior/executive management on cross- functional matters. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : - Bachelor's or Master &amp; degree in an engineering discipline. With 11~15 years of work experience. - Past results include successful team or departmental leadership. - At least 3 years of previous management experience &amp; coaching experience required.
