Key Responsibilities:
- Drive local employee relations including full case management. Conduct investigations in response to a range of employee concerns, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence, and other violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Coach, advise and mentor all levels of management through employee relations matters (e.g., interpersonal conflict, communication of employment decisions, advice on policy application)
- Apply conflict resolution techniques to help employees solve interpersonal or other situational conflicts
- Communicate with HRBP and other commercial Leaders regularly regarding pending projects and investigations
- Guide management in the application and interpretation of employment laws or regulations and HR-related policies and practices (e.g., corrective action, attendance policy)
- Build manager capability and employee awareness of internal ER processes, policies and practices
- Foster effective relationships with HRBP and business leaders
- Partner with Employment Legal when conducting investigations to facilitate prompt and effective resolution of workplace concerns
- Analyze employee relations trends with business leaders and HR teams; help develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs and policies
- Partner with legal advisors when conducting investigations to facilitate prompt and effective resolution of workplace concerns
- Analyze employee relations trends with business leaders and HR teams; help develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs, and policies.
- Participate in audits to guarantee adherence with legal requirements and company policies
Ideal Candidate:
- MBA/ MSW/ Law 10+ years of experience in employee relations, investigations or employment law
- SME in local laws that govern employment policies and practices
- Thorough understanding and application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices and standards
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator
