Responsibilities:
- Engaging in business development and client relationship management for firms target corporate groups/ conglomerates
- Developing company-specific plans and strategies to develop a healthy sales pipeline across these various large corporate / group companies
- Driving the corporate program(s) leveraging key relationships existing within the firm and other contacts, tracking opportunities and driving actions to convert them into projects
- Researching/ refining point of view on the businesses of the potential/ target clients to identify potential sales opportunities to pursue
- Tracking relevant developments/news across the target group of companies and identifying opportunities where firm can add value

Job Description:
Business Development Senior Manager/ Director:
- Developing content to support client meetings and exploratory conversations, leveraging the expertise of colleagues in India and global offices
- Building own network and developing relationships with potential clients in the target corporate group(s)
- Program managing key activities required to develop and grow the corporate account(s) Client Management
- Adept at building strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makers
- Earn client's trust by displaying superior work ethic with utmost importance on client confidentiality
- Satisfy client expectations by delivering superior quality work
- Track record in business development, with strong external networks
Communication and Soft skills:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of delivering high-quality reports and presentations
- Engage audience by responding effectively & succinctly
- Strong commercial orientation
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to influence and lead pitches
- Strong ability to research, analyze and communicate key commercial value drivers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a must

Basic Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent master's degree in Marketing/Sales from premium institutes required
Experience:
Required:
- 7-12 years experience post MBA
- Professional services / consulting from a management consultancy or as an 'internal consultant' in a corporate environment
- 2-3 years of experience and expertise focused on account management and B2B sales (pre and / or post MBA) in sectors such as Retail, FMCG/CPG, Metals & Mining, Chemicals, Consumer Whitegoods (appliances, electronics etc.), and Automotive
- Experience in key account management, including developing account-specific sales strategies / plans, managing relationships across levels and functions in key accounts, idea generation and content development to convert leads
- Analytically strong, with the ability to link technical analysis to financial statements and understand the implications of findings to client strategy.
