Role Summary
Deliver end to end project execution of new stores and requirements of existing stores pan India
Key Job Responsibilities
Project Execution
- Understand the store layout and design aspects of the new stores from the design teams
- Understand the specific requirements of the existing stores
- Align, schedule, track and deliver projects in line with the master project delivery schedule for all new stores
- Align with the Concept Project Design team and the Regional Retail team to deliver on the specific requirements of existing stores
- Generate BOQs as per defined norms
- Share project progress updates and tracker at regular intervals to all the relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Regional Project Design and Concept Project Design team on design pack and specifications for new stores
- Manage the commercial aspects of project execution (floating the tender, releasing order, making payments and closing of project capex with required documentation as per SOP)
- Ensure handover of the new store to the Regional Retail team as per defined timelines and quality standards
- Align the expected project deliverables with the Regional Execution team with reference to scope of work, terms of LOA, design pack, BOQs, material samples, timelines and quality standards
- Manage the Regional Execution team to deliver as per the defined project deliverables
- Understand the complete MEP design docket, MEP BOQ, MEP specifications, material details and collaborate with the MEP team for completion of MEP works
- Manage entire renovation at stores from the BOQ to closure of the project
- Manage the creation, approval and maintenance of material sample boards
- Ensure feedback is collected after completion of each project from the relevant stakeholders as per the defined process and required actions taken to address the feedback
- Bring value add through value engineering and execution
Vendor Management
- Identify, assess and finalize the vendors
- Define the vendor scope of work and deliverables
- Manage the vendors to deliver as per defined expectations
- Evaluate the vendors and take required actions to address vendor issues
Cost Analysis
- Undertake open costing for all the BOQ line items to arrive at the right costing to enable the commercial team negotiate better without compromising on the deliverables
People Management
- Select the right team members
- Set expectations and give regular feedback to team
- Provide adequate support and motivate the team to deliver on the job
- Guide, coach, train and develop the team
