Senior Manager - Demand/Supply Planning - FMCG

- Manage and analyze all demand and supply in the supply chain, using analytical, statistical, and optimization techniques to ensure proper demand and supply planning ensuring maximum product availability.

- Experience in Manufacturing Industry preferably Vegetable Oils and Fat

- Experience in Supply or Demand planning with 10-15 Years

- Responsible for accurate monthly Demand plan

- Demand Control - the tracking of abnormal demand, management of forecast consumption and Available to Promise.

- Primary contact between Sales, Manufacturing and the Sourcing & Trading Team providing the key communication channel with regard to Supply & Demand information.

- Adjusting stock strategies through stock builds and peak periods

- Running the supply/demand review process with the manufacturing plant

- KPI reporting, weekly and monthly

- Root cause involving key stake holders

- Working with manufacturing plant to agree min production runs, frequency and replenishment strategy

- Influencing the business ensuring process adherence and best practice

- Demand/supply review

- Expert or use on/of planning tool and statistical models to adjust the mid to Long term forecasting using correct statistical models
