Senior Manager - Data Scientist/Collection Analytics - FinTech (4-9 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Support tactical and strategic projects with analytical input to aid organization take data backed decisions.

2. Conceptualize reports to track key business metrics and work with technology team to develop the dashboards.

3. Must be able to connect and establish credibility with stakeholders and support risk analytics related requests across all aspects of lending life cycle

4. Should be able to engage successfully across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Collections:

1. Independently track and evaluate efficacy of collection strategies and models; and work on developing new strategies to improve collection efficiency.

2. Analyzing collection trends and performance across dimensions like locations, portfolios, programs etc.; and propose recommendation for policy changes.

3. Ability to bring together diverse datasets from application, internal performance, and credit bureau for insights.

4. Ability to work closely with collections operations team and guide them on allocation strategies, performance KPIs for different buckets etc.

5. Defining bucket resolution & recovery targets and aligning with ECL projections

6. Data driven micro-segmentations on portfolio to drive collection interventions

Desired profile/Skills:

1. Masters degree from a Tier-1 institute with strong quantitative aptitude and business acumen

2. High-level of proficiency in SQL and Excel. Hands-on experience in R/ Python is a must. Clear understanding of basic financial and statistical concepts is a plus.

3. Overall experience of 4 to 6 years in financial services/ credit bureau is required. Function knowledge of collections is preferrable.

4. Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems, clearly communicate findings and propose solutions that address expressed needs
