PROFILE REQUIREMENT : OPERATIONAL : - Provide deep insights and analysis on the cases that are received by the credit team - Undertake thorough research, analysis and financial number crunching as and when required to make appropriate recommendation on a particular case - Make recommendations to the credit committee - Regular interaction with the business partners and stakeholders in matters relating to credit proposals - Work with the technology team to build and fine tune automated scoring models for better decision making and improving the TAT - Continuously look for improvisation of process through technology to catch up with trends prevailing in the industry - Build and manage credit team - Undertake periodic portfolio monitoring and review activity, identify early warning signals and take up the matters of concern on a proactive basis. STRATEGIC : - Build / modify credit scoring system as required from time to time - Keep up-to-date with the firm's lending protocols and risk appetite - Evaluate and fine tune credit and risk evaluation parameters - Devising tools for portfolio monitoring and provide recommendations for de-risking / portfolio and rebalancing it. - Analyzing periodic market changes and tacking regulations and changes that affect portfolio Relevant Skills, Knowledge and Experience : - Good understanding of how technology can play a role in credit process - Strong analytics and command over numbers - Good communication and report writing skills (credit memos) - Thorough understanding of financial ratios, cash flow and financial reporting concepts - Strong attention to details and ability to identify discrepancies and or gaps in the data - Ability to manage deadlines and deliver on time with quality Personal Attributes : - High level of Integrity, honesty - High energy and enthusiasm - Excellent inter personal skills. Fluency in English language. - Team player - Ability to engage with people across different strata The candidate should be open to extensive travel to tier 2 and tier 3 cities in Western and Southern part of India
