Senior Manager - Counterparty Risk

The Counterparty Risk arises as a result of cooperation with institutional counterparties, typically banks. The Group Companies (including HCIN) use payment services (typically disbursement of loans, collection of repayments and general commercial payments), funding services, correspondent banking services, deposit services, financial market transactions services and short term money placement services with these banks.

Job Responsibility :

1. The analysis of the creditworthiness of a counterparty is based primarily on the publicly available information and additional data provided by the counterparty. The credit risk analysis is must include at least the assessment of the following risk dimensions:

1.1 Ownership (stability, public vs. privately held)

1.2 Management (stability, experience, organizational structure)

1.3 Recent business model changes (international expansion, new business lines)

1.4 Financial, including:

(i) Profitability (NI, ROE, ROA)

(ii) Liquidity (short and long term, LCR)

(iii) Solvency (capital ratios, leverage)

(iv) Sustainability (operating income from recurring operations)

(v) Efficiency (OPEX/NI).

1.5 Rating

The assessment of the transaction must include :

(i) Detailed description of the relationship

(ii) Detailed description of the credit risk bearing products

(iii) Commercial reasoning for the relationship.

2. Additional tasks :

a. Limit utilization monitoring

b. Credit quality monitoring

c. Limit changes proposals

Experience : 8-12 yrs and working as an Individual Contributor

Industry: From Banking/NBFC

Advantage : Credit and Counterparty Risk Manager (CCRM) Certificate holder (or similar) (https://www.prmia.org/ccrm)
