Senior Manager - Corporate Planning - Finance Domain - Life Insurance (8-12 yrs)

Our Client is a well established Life Insurance Company. Established in 2011, the company is part of India's leading diversified financial services organization.

The primary focus of this position is to be part of Corporate Planning team of a Life Insurance Company.

- This department focuses on comprehensive market analysis and forecasting, while providing strategic and analytical support to the Commercial team and other senior management on a range of critical issues.

- The primary missions are to inform senior management in the continuous development of the company's strategic plan (e.g., preparing analyses regarding plan Vs Actual, competitors strategy and performance, etc.),

- Support key strategic, financial, and commercial decisions (e.g., business opportunities, contract negotiations and new build or other major capital investment decisions)

- Assist and maintain current long term planning model in order to provide complex financial analysis as required beyond the current budgetary horizon or complementary to the current budgetary horizon. In accordance with the above items, this position will be responsible for driving the agenda and discussion materials for the Company's Strategic Opportunities Committee.

- The Corporate Planning team also lends analytical competencies to complex analyses relating to key decisions by Human Resources, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, and other departments.

- A secondary focus of this position is to build and direct the company's relations strategy, in order to (1) promote awareness of potential global threats and opportunities to our business, enhance long term value and our competitive position through leveraging industry groups.

Position Scope and Experience : 

This position will be part of Corporate Planning department in providing strategic guidance and analytic support to the Strategy, CFO, CEO, and senior management.

- Post-graduate degree in business, finance, economics, financial analysis, or accounting.

- Other degrees will be considered with significant post-degree finance experience.

- 8 + years of relevant work experience overall

- Strong financial and/or accounting knowledge and Excel skills (financial modelling, logical analysis, and analytical skills).

- Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively utilize PowerPoint for presentations.

- Self-starter with strong initiative and demonstrable leadership abilities.

- Self-confidence, reliability and persuasion during project presentation.

- Ability to work cross-function and to develop strong interpersonal relationships with Company leadership.

- Ability to critically identify and gather required information, assimilate different perspectives and approaches, and share synthesized information with others.

- Experience in Insurance and Financial Services industry.
