JOB TITLE : SR. MANAGER - GLOBAL CONTRACT MANUFACTURING

LOCATION : MUMBAI

REQUIREMENTS :

- Bachelor's degree - Chemistry or Commercial, Master's degree is a plus.

- 12+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or other quantitative discipline.

- Experience in (contract) manufacturing, ideally within the industry and with specific knowledge of small to medium size operations.

- Experience with strategic sourcing methodologies, structured contract negotiations and supplier performance management.

- Experience in working in a multinational, matrix- based organization.

- Experience with managing a team of professionals with different culture and backgrounds, leading cross functional teams effectively and rolling out global or regional initiatives.

- Proven influencing skills with division presidents and other senior level stakeholders

REPORTING LINE :

- Reports to the Vice President Global Procurement - Chemical & Contract Manufacturing.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Manage the commercial terms and business relationships with Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners within the region, in alignment with the global CM strategy and the regional Business and Supply Chain strategy. Responsible for negotiation fees / conditions / costs with CM's.

- Engage suppliers on pricing and supply related issues for new product quotes, volume transfers and/or cost savings projects.

- Support new business initiatives, when necessary designing the supply chain process ( end to end ) from the sourcing of raw & pack materials, the manufacturing and the delivery to the Warehouse, engaging with both internal functions and the CM partners. Understand potential costs and design/cost implication.

- Generate new ideas and execute on those ideas to deliver Total Cost of ownership (TCO) reductions for It's.

- Align with other Direct Materials categories (such as Chemicals and Packaging) to make sure all potential synergies are fully realized, contract are implemented and there is transparency on Chemicals and Packaging spend by the CM's.

- Manage intermittent supply issues and support planning organization to ensure supplier performance and compliance.

- Develop appropriate communications to advise Business of supplier performance and work together with Quality department to make sure CM's comply with quality procedures.

- Manage a Contract Manufacturing Manager based in SEA and interacts with the regional Supply Chain organization.
