Senior Manager - Continuous Improvement - Financial Shared Services (8-12 yrs)

Primary Duties:

This position reports into the Senior GM-CI and is a strategic position for establishing the clients Financial Shared Services(FSS) Centre as a center with processes that are efficient and optimized.

As a Continuous Improvement Senior Manager for the Financial Shared Services(FSS) you will be responsible for:

- Evaluating current business performance and identify gaps in critical areas which limit efficient operations.

- Establish and implement Continuous Improvement plans and monitors progress, ensuring the achievement of desired results promptly.

- Provide technical leadership and development coaching to six sigma various Belts and projects, including the development of various RPA tools and other automation projects.

- Assure that projects are executed following the Six Sigma methodology

How you will do it -

- Work with operation leaders and set-up a process that helps evaluate the current business process in the center. Bench-mark the process with best practices (within and outside the company) and create a roadmap for continuous improvement.

- Assists the functional departments during the planning and implementation stages of Six Sigma projects.

- Create documents and other material to communicate change to Six Sigma Methodology.

- Support projects with well defined parameters.

- Verify that DMAIC methodology and tools are being properly applied to projects

- Consult on Six Sigma projects about project direction, financial and quality improvement opportunities and suitability as a Six Sigma project

- Share best practices throughout the Company and monitors Six Sigma projects for opportunities for cross-collaboration

- Review project status with assigned Black Belts and Champions and provides counsel and advice on the use of Six Sigma tools and methodology

- Assure assigned Black Belts are kept informed of new developments/approaches in Six Sigma methodology

- Model the Six Sigma process in individual and group interactions and challenges current thinking and resistance

- Look for opportunities to recognize and publicize the accomplishments of assigned Black Belts

- Stay current with company Six Sigma initiative and new processes and quality improvement tools and techniques

What we look for

- Bachelor / Professional Masters Degree. Preferably in Engineering / Science or Statistics

- Strong understanding of and experience in the finance process

- Working experience within a shared services center/ BPO for Manufacturing company or equivalent

- Good analytical and presentation skills

- 8+ years of experience with at least the last 2-3 years in the finance area.

- Valid Black Belt certification

- F&A experience in PTP/RTR/OTC areas is a must

- Strong math & statistical capabilities

- Good command over MS Office Apps.

- High Energy & Strategic thinking

Preferred

- Experience in driving RPA/Automation projects

- Self-starter who is performance and quality-oriented

- Good communication skills (verbal and written)

- Flexible work style and ability to work under pressure

- Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills

- Ability to communicate with the senior management and manage the conflicting situations
