Senior Manager - Content & Engagement Marketing - Video Platform (8-14 yrs)
Senior Manager- Content and Engagement Marketing
What you'll do:
- Bridge digital content marketing & creative strategies to reimagine the video platform & drive viewer engagement
- Lead the creative, content focused marketing strategy on Video Platform to maximise organic traffic & conversion
- Leverage existing consumption data to build a net incremental watch time model for VOD
- Improve content conversion outcomes using merchandising levers informed by existing consumption data and improvement experiments (A/B on images, description & title meta, placement, type of widget, design)
- Re-image the platform thinking both strategically & tactically about audience & business needs, understanding product design mechanics, sherpharding compelling packaging & presentation of content, tracking metrics & dissecting information & championing product experience improvements.
- Working cross functionally with other teams such as Operations & Product Management, manage launch of new shows & experiences end to end on the platform from a creative design & experience perspective
- Devise & manage a calendar of new, recurring content campaigns of varying sizes & frequency including specific initiative based campaigns around tentpole events
- Iterate in a scalable fashion at a rapid pace
- Partner with the Products team to contribute to the product strategy and support product vision
- Drive and help build features to promote content virality on social media
What you'll need:
- 8-12 years experience in content marketing or social media marketing
- Work experience with a digital OTT platform, online platform or social media agency
- Proven track record in delivering success via organic content on social & digital platforms
- Passion for merging media trends, product experience & technology, especially social platform products
- Deep understanding of digital, OTT & social media metrics
- Understands best practices of content led marketing, product marketing & effective use of social media channels
- Attention to detail, right brain left brain mix and balance of analytical & creative thinking
- Expert presentation skills & project management
- Start up mentality - entrepreneurial with a roll up sleeves attitude
- High bias for action, ability to think laterally & innovate
- Collaborative, with experience of working in a cross-functional team environment with multiple internal & external teams
- Comfort working in a fast paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment where multi tasking & prioritising is highly essential
- Passionate about content - able to analyse & present content in a highly creative & convincing fashion
- Superior written & verbal communication skills & design sensibility
- Good undergrad degree, MBA from top 10 college a plus
